OmDarshan is built on a simple principle: pilgrims deserve accurate information without giving up their privacy to get it. This policy explains what minimal data we collect and why.
What We Collect
OmDarshan has no user accounts, checkout, or on-site contact form. Vercel Web Analytics provides aggregated page-view information such as page visited, device type, and approximate country or region. Our hosting and delivery providers may also process ordinary technical request data, including IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and request logs, to deliver and secure the site. We receive your name, email address, and message only if you choose to email omdarshanguide@gmail.com.
Cookies
OmDarshan does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless and does not use third-party cookies to measure visits. If the site adds a feature that requires cookies in the future, this policy will be updated before that feature is launched.
Analytics
OmDarshan uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand how pilgrims use the site: which temple pages are most visited, what devices are used, and which countries visitors come from. Vercel Analytics is cookieless and privacy-first: it does not track individuals across sessions or sites and does not fingerprint browsers. For how Vercel handles data under regulations such as GDPR and India's DPDPA, please refer to Vercel's own privacy documentation. No data is shared with advertising platforms.
Third-Party Services
OmDarshan uses Vercel for hosting, content delivery, security, and aggregated Web Analytics. Vercel may process technical request and log data under its own privacy terms. The site's text and icon fonts are self-hosted with the website, so visitors do not connect to Google Fonts at runtime. We do not sell personal data or share visitor data with advertising platforms.
Advertising
OmDarshan does not currently run any advertising or affiliate programs. We may introduce minimal display advertising as the site grows, but never intrusive pop-ups or interstitials. Any future advertising or affiliate relationships will be clearly disclosed in this policy and on the relevant pages.
Data Retention
Vercel retains analytics and technical service data according to its applicable product terms and privacy documentation. OmDarshan does not maintain a separate visitor database. Email messages sent to omdarshanguide@gmail.com are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, keep an appropriate correction record, or meet legal obligations.
Your Rights
There is no OmDarshan user profile or account to access or delete. If you have a question about information you voluntarily sent by email, or another privacy request, write to omdarshanguide@gmail.com. Requests involving data processed independently by Vercel may also be governed by its privacy procedures.
Children
OmDarshan is a general-audience informational guide and is not directed specifically to children. We do not provide child accounts or knowingly request personal information from children through the site.
Changes to This Policy
This privacy policy may be updated as OmDarshan grows or its service providers change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Updated wording takes effect when it is published here; material changes will be described clearly where practical.
